Programme:

 

We meet in the early morning or evening at one of the most beautiful private sites in the Camargue, near the Vaccares, in St Marie de la Mer and photograph the wild bird species there together from a floating hide.

 

We may encounter little egrets, flamingos, avocets, grey herons, waders, ibis, white spoonbills, kingfishers, etc., which you can then photograph from a low perspective in the water. 

 

I will give you instructions on how to use a waterhide and, if required, I will be happy to lend you waterproof waders. 

 

This is a unique opportunity to photograph a wide variety of bird species from a deep perspective!

Recommended equipment:

Digital SLR or system camera, as well as the appropriate lenses. I recommend a wide-angle lens in the focal length range between 10-35mm and a light telephoto lens up to 200/400mm.

Essential: knee-high rain boots
